Why did Obito, a supposed "bad person," do good things for Kakashi?

The good things Obito did for Kakashi were give Kakashi a different view on life by telling him his father wasn't wrong for saving his comrades over the mission (“the worse than scum” quote) and when he came to his senses and helped Team 7 near the end of Shippuden (taking the All Killing Ash Bones attack for Kakashi & later granting him Susanoo from the Afterlife). That was about it despite being pivotal moments for Kakashi's character and for Team 7's victory over Kaguya. Kakashi and Obito were friends and Obito didn't blame Kakashi for Rin's death, but rather the circumstances that they kept getting thrown into because of how the shinobi system was structured thated to Rin's eventual death. Obito's actions after being broken led to crossing paths with Kakashi and being his opposition for the majority of the story from the Kyuubi attack to the Uchiha Massacre and eventually with Akatsuki and Madara. Obito was a pawn in the grand scheme of things, but was blinded by rage that Madara took advantage of and by the time Obito realized it, it was too late. Obito knew Kakashi also wanted peace and they were both doing it for their dead comrades, mostly moreso for Rin. Obito knew Kakashi needed helped out of the darkness before getting crushed by that boulder and then again when it came to saving the world as a part of his redemption.
